The Wonderful Family Ulric and the Wonderful Friend Ullrich (former Partridge)!

I love my friend Ben (former PAX co-worker) and his so delightful family - wife Erin and daughters Izzy and Emma plus new pooch Maggie! Scott and I got to stay with them a couple years ago and they have a great guest suite, but the best part is just hanging out, chatting and listening to the girls latest adventures. The biggest thing going on in their house right now is the new puppy! Tiko and Maggie played constantly and both slept well each night!

We got there late Saturday and had Cheesecake Factory dinners with cheesecake, of course! Sunday, morning Ben fixed a wonderful breakfast that we tucked right into (once we finally got up!) Ben’s Mom was having the family over for Easter dinner later and we were very graciously invited, but I felt it best for us pass and instead went to a dog park I had found listed on the 50 best. What an experience!

Eggs, bacon, croissants and fruit! Just our kind of breakfast!

This dog park was huge! We questioned whether Point Isabella was really larger. But BOY, was it popular!!! The line to get in was long, but got even longer once we were in. The parking was limited so they could only let cars in as others left. It took quite a while before we got in - but it was worth the wait. It was a beautiful day and Tiko LOVED it, as did we!

What a coincidence that my dear college friend Joy (Partridge) Ullrich moved to Colorado close to my friend Ben Ulric! We were SO happy to connect with her for brunch on our way to Steamboat Springs. Had a delicious meal at Snooze and, amazingly, were able to (mostly) catch up over bunch. Joy and I both attended Univ. of Indpls. and were faculty brats. Our dads coached, mine track and football, hers golf and called the football games. So, we grew up seeing each other after the U of I games every Saturday during the season. Luckily, we’ve managed to stay connected since graduation 30+ years ago.
