Drive up to Napa

March 29th, we only had about a 5 1/2 hour drive to Greg and Wanda’s, but I knew it was going to take longer with charging and stopping at a couple places, the first being a dog beach! It was about an hour north of Oxnard and was called “Lookout Park”. Of course, our beautiful weather continued to follow us and it was a lovely day. We didn’t stay long, but loved taking a stroll down, and I do mean down, to the beach. The trek up gave us some exercise! They even had a dog wash if your pooch got too dirty at the beach!

The Pinnacles National Park was just about a 20 minute drive out of the way and so we thought we’d check it out. It was certainly worth it, but we lamented the fact we didn’t have time to walk their nicely groomed paths and really explore the park. Still, glad we stopped, it was definitely worth the detour!
