We Do Love Us Some In n’ Out

Scott remembers the first time he went to In ‘n Out in California. His friend, Bob, took him there sometime in the late 80’s. Scott remembers seeing a guy sitting out back peeling a 5-gallon bucket of potatoes! I remember the first time at an In ‘n Out. We were on our motorcycle trip with the girls in ‘91 and rode out to Barstow, CA from Bob and Barb’s house. They followed us out there, we ate and then they turned around and we headed to Vegas!

I looked back at our credit card charges and we hit In ‘n Out four times, but the last was the most amazing/crazy-ridiculous! Apparently, Denver just got an In ‘n Out. Not knowing this, we thought we would run through and pick up Animal Fries as a snack before heading back to Ben and Erin’s. It wasn’t far from the dog park and more or less on the way back to their house. When we got to In ‘n Out we could see a long line, but had NO IDEA until we were in it, just how long it was! It ended up taking 45 minutes to get Animal Fries (fries with grilled onion, melt-y cheese and special sauce). We didn’t even get anything to drink since we had stuff with us! What a crazy ordeal and had we know, wouldn’t have done it, but hey, we got some fun pic’s!

I think there were 6 rows of about 12 cars where the line STARTED in an adjacent parking lot!
