More B’s - BMB&B! Best Man Bob and wife Barb!
We couldn’t wait to get to Hacienda Heights to visit with Bob and Barb, but our arrival at 1:30 am meant not meeting them until the next morning. They came to the resort we were staying at in Anaheim and then took us to “Toast” (cue Haywood Banks song) for a delicious brunch!
Scott and Bob were roommates at Purdue (Scott’s first try!) and Bob was the best man at our wedding. We try to visit them every time we are in California, but always if we are in SoCal. I made us do a recreation of the last time we were there (shockingly long ago, in 2014) as demoed by the photos below- sort of a before and after. They all look just the same!

We had a great time visiting and they, as always, are such great hosts and friends. I love and really appreciated how Bob interacted with Scott, as though there was no time between visits, or differences with Scott. He had Scott go with him on walks, taking their dog Dexter and Tiko, showing him different things he was working on and taking us to see his plane. Since Barb was and still is a teacher, we can talk for hours about anything. I always enjoy hanging out with them and that is what we did for two days.
