Lindsey’s resort

March 11 -

Knew this was going to be a long day, but it turned out to be a REALLY long day. There was a reward at the end, though - Lindsey’s fishing resort! We drove through driving rain much of the day and poor Tiko was having digestive issues (diarrhea), but once we finally got to the resort, it was worth it!

View from our porch.

The rain had cleared, but then this gentle fog started rolling in.

Tesla fans!

The owners love Tesla and have about 10 chargers installed around the property. They booked us into a cabin with the charger right there!

Awesome cabin on the river!

On arrival Tiko immediately made his way to the river which meant cleaning muddy boots, but next morning was good about staying on the porch. Wish I had taken photos of the inside, but it had a small kitchen, king bed, living area and a double hot tub! We were too tired to enjoy any of it until the next morning. You can view the interior on their website:

This place was awesome for us because of the wonderful accommodations, chargers and beautiful setting, but we kept thinking how much our grandson, Ethan, would love it for the fishing! We have to come back and bring him!

Had no idea the river we were on was downstream from this huge dam until we left the resort and 1/2 mile up the road we came to this. Had to stop and see it! Map below gives you an idea!
