Park City and Scott’s High School Buddy, Ron

We headed to Park City, specifically to see Scott’s HS buddy, Ron Ikamire. Ron has been so great over the years in keeping in touch with Scott in the best way possible - by sending actual letters through the mail! Scott has kept them and really cherishes and appreciates them. I really enjoy them, too, because Ron always adds old photos and reminders of their group of friends (gang :^) called the ____. We had a really lovely Wyndham resort very near Ron. We didn’t get in until quite late from our long travel day before, so we planned to have brunch the next morning. We first went to Ron’s house and then on to a great brunch place for a most delicious meal that I couldn’t finish! Back to Ron’s to visit and do our toast (more on this later). It was just such a delight catching up with Ron and I got to learn a few things about Scott as a teenager. :-)

You’d never guess these two were in their late 70’s!!

Fit right in with my white hair!

As I said, we had a lovely one-bedroom Presidential suite at the Wyndham. It was lovely, but I really fell in love with the outdoors as much - they had it all lit up like Christmas!

Right between where we were staying and Ron’s house was this really great dog park that Tiko LOVED! We went twice since it was so great, but it got really COLD and so we didn’t stay long either time!

Really large and fenced dog park!
